A wagering requirement — turnover, playthrough, rollover; the names differ across the industry — is the condition that decides whether bonus money can become withdrawable money. It is the most important line in any promotion and the one most often skipped.
The arithmetic
A requirement is written as a multiple. A bonus of 1.000 RSD at 10× turnover means 10.000 RSD has to be staked before the bonus and anything won from it can be withdrawn. Note what is being multiplied: the stakes you place, not the money you lose. Winnings that return to the balance and get staked again count towards it too.
Sometimes the multiple applies to bonus plus deposit rather than to the bonus alone. The same 1.000 RSD bonus on a 1.000 RSD deposit at 10× is then 20.000 RSD of turnover instead of 10.000 — identical headline, twice the work. Which of the two applies is stated in the terms, and it is the first thing to check.
Game weighting
Not every bet counts equally. Across the industry slots typically count in full while table games and low-margin markets count at a fraction or not at all, because they leave the house a thinner edge. A requirement that looks reachable on paper can be several times larger in practice if you play games contributing at twenty per cent.
A worked example
Take a 100 per cent bonus of 2.000 RSD on a 2.000 RSD deposit, at 25× on bonus plus deposit, slots counting in full and table games at ten per cent.
- Turnover required: 25 × 4.000 RSD, so 100.000 RSD staked.
- Played on slots at a five per cent house margin, completing it costs roughly 5.000 RSD in expectation — more than the bonus and the deposit together.
- Played on table games at ten per cent weighting, that same requirement needs 1.000.000 RSD actually staked, which is not a realistic proposition.
The point is not that requirements are unfair — they are how bonuses are funded. The point is that the multiple is the offer, and it takes one minute to turn it into dinars.
The conditions that void a bonus
Beyond the multiple, a handful of terms decide whether the attempt counts at all. These are industry-standard; the specific values live in each promotion's rules:
- Maximum stake while a bonus is active — a single bet above it can void the bonus and anything won with it.
- Time limit — an unmet requirement usually expires with the bonus, taking the associated winnings.
- Excluded games — some titles do not count towards turnover at all.
- Maximum conversion — a cap on how much of the bonus winnings can become cash.
Time limits
Requirements come with a clock, often a week. A short window interacts badly with a large multiple: 100.000 RSD of turnover inside seven days means staking around 14.000 RSD a day, every day, which is a different activity from the one most people had in mind when they opted in.
